Are you interested in understanding how stress affects the molecular makeup and micro-architecture of the brain and mental illness?

I’m looking for enthusiastic and diligent students to work with me on some exciting upcoming projects beginning in January/February 2019. The projects will be mainly focused on analysing postmortem human brain tissues, with additional scope for computational biologists to assess new and existing datasets.

Students will need to have a background in neuroscience and/or molecular biology and/or bioinformatics. Students with experience in wet labs (especially microscopy techniques) and computational biology will be strongly considered. More info here.

Potential Honours, Masters of PhD candidates should send their CVs with their background and research experience to nmatosin@uow.edu.au.

**note all positions have been filled. If you’re interested with working with our lab, keep an eye on our lab website  http://www.mindslaboratory.wordpress.com where we advertise openings**
